Course description

Testing or Quality Assurance (QA) is a step in the process of realizing a software product. Testing can be done both manually and automatically. Our manual and automated testing course is aimed at non-technical people and is an ideal opportunity to enter the IT field. The course has also been specifically designed for testing web applications. The learner will be taken from scratch in this endeavor, and the trainer will start by presenting the introductory notions of this field. Then, since our goal is your employment, the trainer will cover one by one all the concepts you need to successfully get through a job interview in an IT company. We would like to emphasize that this course is accredited, so at the end of it you will get a certificate of qualification in the job of programmer analyst.

The course

This course will take place once or twice a week between 18:30-21:30, depending on the pace set by the trainer for the curriculum.

Groups are usually between 20-25 learners, but may vary depending on the number of enrolments.

The course will take place LIVE online. In order to interact with each other, we will use the Zoom platform. This will simulate the classroom atmosphere:

  • The teacher will be seen and will be able to share their screen with other students.
  • Students in turn will be able to intervene both in writing and verbally, and if needed (to present their homework, to solve some queries or for other reasons) they will also have the option to share their screen with the rest of the participants.

Trainer presentation

Florin Stefan

QA course trainer

My name is Florin Stefan, I am 27 years old and I have been a Software Tester for 7 years.

I started my journey in the world of software testing with a course at FasttrackIT, the place where I learned from scratch what testing is and what is its purpose in software development.

In these 7 years I had the opportunity to work in different companies, from startups of 6 people to companies of thousands. Also, the domains I have worked in have varied a lot, from iOT, to Automotive, Blockchain, Healthcare, Financial.

All these experiences shaped me and gave me the opportunity to interact with a lot of technologies, allowing me to test web, mobile, desktop, hardware devices, and cars not released at that time.

I've always liked to use my knowledge to help people, and over the years I've held various testing workshops and coaching sessions in the teams I've worked in, which is the reason why I chose to go to the next level and join the FasttrackIT team.

I'm passionate about software testing and I'm always looking to accumulate more knowledge and to develop myself on other branches of software development, which I believe help me to become a better tester, more complete.

Trainer presentation

Rami Sharaiyri

QA course trainer

As a software engineer, I consider myself a tech-oriented person and a clean code advocate.

I have been passionate about Computers even before knowing what IT means, at age of 12 I received as a present from my parents a desktop computer, and the first thing that I started doing was to play games. After a while, being bored of games, I was sure that the Computer can do much more and I started looking at the computers from a technological perspective.

At first, I learned about hardware, and software, the internet was something new to us, and all in all, this led to my launching pad into IT. This happened back in '00s.

With more than 10 years of experience in both testing and development having strong focus on Test Automation, I have proven in many complex projects that the Test Automation process brings much value to the customer, and it should be implemented in any small or big project right from the beginning of the project.

The Shift Left approach with a "Test early and often" mindset have proven the right recipe to high quality software delivery, and I try to propagate in any project that I contribute to.

Outside of the office, I'm 34 years old, married, I have a 2-year-old son. I am passionate about skiing, paragliding, outdoors activities, which I have put them on 2nd place for obvious reasons.

Looking forward to sharing with you my experience and don't hesitate to reach out on social media.
